Stations of the Cross

As we continue our Lenten Journey together, plan to join us for the Stations of the Cross each Friday at 6:30pm in the Church!  It's a special opportunity to reflect on the Good News that we are not alone, as Christ carries His cross for all of God's people!

Fish Fry Fridays
Members of the Knights of Columbus invite all parishioners to come and participate in the Lenten fish dinners in the parish hall each Friday evening during Lent.
The menu includes baked and fried fish, french fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies, soup, dessert and beverages. A kids menu will also be available.
There is a suggested donation $8 per adult, $4 for children or $25 per family for the supper, with all proceeds benefiting the Knights of Columbus scholarship program.
Serving will begin at 4:45pm and end at 6:15pm for Stations of the Cross.

40 Days for Life March

The 40 Days for Life March and Prayer Vigil for Life will meet this Saturday, March 7th at 10:30am... See the Flyer for full details!

Habitat for Humanity

It's that time of year again, when St. John's joins with other area churches to build a home for a local family. This year's build will begin soon and will continue through mid-to-late May. If interested in volunteering, contact Irene Garoppo, with questions or to be placed on the email mail list. If you are already on the list, there is no need to sign up again.

Lenten Rice Bowl

This Lent, our parish will again be participating in Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Rice Bowl, a faith formation program that helps people of all ages experience our Catholic faith, Lenten spirituality, and helping people in need around the world.  Each family is encouraged to take home a cardboard "Rice Bowl" and Lenten Spiritual Guide, available in the vestibule.  Please look through these materials and consider using them this Lent.
