Each year, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops tranfers Thursday's celebration of the Ascension of the Lord, to the following Sunday.  (See Canon 1246) Hence, St. John's will be celebrating the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord at all Masses this weekend.

We'd like to invite parishioners and families to join together for our Parish Picnic on Sunday, June 3rd from 1:00 until 4:00pm.  We'll be serving BBQ and fixins', and have inflatables for kids!  Plan to bring your own drinks, and something to sit on, and relax on the Parish Field with old AND NEW friends! Congratulations to all of our Graduates!  We pray that as you walk through this week, that you enjoy the milestone with family and friends,  stay safe, and prepare your hearts for the courage to follow God's will, for you are called "to make disciples of all nations!"
