Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.  O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

 

 

Come Join Us for the Parish Picnic on Sunday, June 2nd from 1:00 - 4:00pm!  We’ll gather on the Parish Field for an afternoon of family fun, including BBQ, all “the fixins”, and activities for the kids. Bring your own cooler of drinks, chairs and a canopy, and make a day of it!  We'll be selling tickets in the Vestibule this weekend and next, for $5 per person, or $15 for a Family Pass!  Note: You may pay the day of the picnic.
 

All senior parishioners are invited to our Red, White, and Blue themed Pot Luck to be held in the Church Basement on Saturday, May 18, 2013, after the 5:30 p.m. Mass. Please join us on Sunday, May 19 at 3:00 PM in the All purpose Room. We have a guest speaker to talk with us about some of the legal issues involved in raising a special needs child and caring for Special Needs family members. This should be a very informative meeting. We will plan for light refreshments, and hope to see you all on the 19th.

Portrait appointments are now being scheduled for our new Parish Pictorial Directory! We are currently scheduling June 25 - 29 and July 9 - 13. Help make our first family directory in nearly 10 years a complete one! Father Phil and Father Roy are already scheduled! Studios will be set up in the Church Basement. Wednesday, May 29th, 6:00 - 8:00pm in the Parish Hall

These classes are required for all adults who volunteer with the youth in our parish and school. The common areas where training is required includes: Vacation Bible School, Youth Ministry, St. John's School/Pope John Paul II CHS Parent Volunteers, Scouting, Religious Education Catechists, Children's Choir, and Parish Sports Programs.

Training must be renewed every 3 years
