Our Faith
Want to learn more about the Catholic Faith? Or do you desire to become Catholic? Then come to RCIA...
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
FIRST SESSION FOR 2010-11 CYCLE IS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th
7:15-8:45pm in the parish hall (church basement)
RCIA is the process through which people can learn more about the Catholic faith and/or who would like to become Catholic. RCIA sessions will begin again in September and run through early May. The book,
We Believe, by Fr. Oscar Lukefahr, is used as the basis of all discussions. Copies of this book can be purchased prior to the beginning of sessions online at
www.amazon.com, or will be available at the initial RCIA sessions. If you would like more information, or are interested in participating, please contact Christina Semmens, 603-0225, csemmens@stjohnbchurch.org.
Are you a non-Catholic who would you like to come to mass, but might be uncomfortable or unsure about what to "do" during mass, and therefore hesitate to join us during our weekend liturgy? Then we have a solution for you--a "Mass buddy!" Just
send an email indicating what mass you would like to attend and we will connect you with a "Mass Buddy" (someone willing to meet you and go to mass with you)
