Prayer Groups and Retreat Opportunities at St John's
Eucharistic Adoration
Adoration, Monday-Thursday, 9am-6pm, Fridays 9am-12 noon. First Friday Adoration occurs immediately following the 8:30am mass until 9:00pm. All parishioners are welcome to come and spend time in silent adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. For more information, contact Maura Edwards, 837-0385.
Holy Hour
Occurs each month immediately following the First Saturday mass at 8:30am. All parishioners are welcome to attend this hour of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in addition to Scripture readings, music and time for reflection.
Ladybug Rosary Group
The Ladybug Rosary Group meets Tuesday mornings at 8am in the church to pray the rosary and offer intercessory prayers on behalf of the children of the parish. Children are welcome to come and pray as well. Please contact Mayra Short, 256-260-2333, for more information.
Wed Evening Rosary Group
The Wednesday Evening Rosary Group meets each Wednesday evening immediately following 6:30pm Mass (approximately 7:10pm) in the Day Chapel. All are invited to come and offer prayers before our Blessed Mother.
Intercessory Prayer Group
All parishoners are invited to participate by attending the gatherings on Tuesday evenings held at 6:30pm in the Mini Purpose Room or by praying for the intentions listed on the Inercessory Prayer Group webpage. For more information, please contact Miguel Rodriguez, 464-5866.
Retreats
Days and/or evenings of reflection for all parishioners are offered during each fall and spring. Specific days/times will be advertised in the buleltin.
