The  Diocese of  Birmingham has initiated the development of the Diocese of  Birmingham Catechetical Institute for the purpose of providing a program of catechist certification that is required for all who teach the Catholic faith in our Catholic schools and parish religious education programs.  This program offers a comprehensive overview of the Catechism of the Catholic Church in a series of videos accessible through the Catechetical Institute’s website.
