We are actively seeking teenagers (9th grade and older) and adults who would like to work with this ministry at 8:30 or 11:30 masses. We need monitors as well as readers and discussion leaders. Please contact Cheri Furno at 772-0449 for more information.
The purpose of Children’s Liturgy of the Word is to bring the sacred scriptures alive for the children in the context of their own experiences and situations. It enables the children to ask questions about the week’s reading and relate to the scriptures on their own terms. Parents are always welcome to attend with their children if they want to observe and learn more about this ministry.
