Online
Theology Courses--Would you like to learn
more about the faith, when and where it’s convenient
for your schedule? Have you ever wished you could attend
adult education classes, but schedules and travel prevent
you from doing so? The Diocese of Birmingham has partnered
with the Catholic (Marianist) University
of Dayton, to provide online learning to support
adult faith, lay ecclesial ministry and catechetical formation
in the Church. Our diocese now joins more than 50 dioceses
who have partnered with this program. Courses are available
7 times per year, and more than 45 courses are offered
each year. Because of the Diocese of Birmingham partnership
the cost is half the usual price, $40.00 per course. These
online courses are not correspondence courses; rather
they are designed to foster virtual communities through
sharing thoughts and reflecting on other participants’
insights. More information, including course listings
and registration is available at: http://vlc.udayton.edu.
